A session is one login on one device. The Sessions page shows every active session of every user.
Go to User Activity → Settings → Sessions.
For each user you see their role. For each session you see:
- The browser and system, for example Chrome on Linux.
- The IP address.
- When the user logged in.
Click Refresh to load the newest list.
Log out one session #
Click the trash icon next to the session. That device is logged out at once. The user can log in again with their password.
Log out all sessions of a user #
Click Terminate All next to the user. All their devices are logged out.
Each time you end a session, Pastmark records it in the activity log with the severity Warning.
When to use this #
- A user lost a phone or laptop.
- You changed a user’s password and want them to log in again everywhere.
- You see a login from an IP address you do not know.
Do and don’t #
- Do change the user’s password too, if you think someone else knows it. Ending a session does not stop a new login with the same password.
- Don’t end your own current session by mistake. You will be logged out.
The View Login History button does not work yet in this version. It shows “No login history for this user yet.” To see a user’s logins, open User Activity → Activity Logs, click Filters, and choose the user and the event Authentication.
